I Don’t Flush was launched in 2014 by the Ontario Clean Water Agency and the Clean Water Foundation to educate the public on what not to put down their sinks and toilets. Thank you to the campaign’s municipal partners over the years for their support:
City of Barrie
Barrie takes its environmental stewardship obligations seriously and is fully committed to the protection of the natural environment. The continued health of Kempenfelt Bay is an ongoing commitment ensured by our dedication to all regulatory compliance requirements and a culture of optimum performance in our operation and maintenance practices.
Indiscriminate disposal of anything not appropriately intended to be sent to the sanitary sewer system is bound to interfere with proper system operation and can potentially impact our ability to fully comply with our regulatory obligations and potentially cause harm to Barrie’s wonderful Kempenfelt Bay water.
Barrie encourages our residents and visitors to treat our sanitary sewer system with respect.
Bradford West Gwillimbury
The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) is located southwest of Lake Simcoe, west of the Holland River, within the southern half of the County of Simcoe. The Town of BWG relies on both groundwater and surface water to supply its growing serviced population of 28,000.
BWG’s water and wastewater divisions are responsible for the treatment and distribution of safe drinking water to its consumers as well as the collection and treatment of wastewater in a manner that protects the natural environment and human health.
BWG is committed to reducing its water use, protecting our water resources, ensuring a safe and sustainable water supply as well as protecting our natural environment.
Let’s all work together to keep our precious water resources and our environment clean and safe!
